Company history

About Lee Whiteaker Plumbing

When you call, we ask what the problem is and when it started. We want to know if you have water where it should not be, if your hot water runs out too fast, or if a drain is slow. We ask about the age of your house and what kind of pipes you have if you know. Then we set a time to come out. On site, we look at the actual situation: the access to the pipe, the clearance around the water heater, the condition of the shutoffs. We explain what we see and what the options are. The quote is based on the work needed, not a guess from a phone call. We tell you the cost and what it covers before we pull a tool out of the truck.

The work itself comes down to the right materials and the right methods. For water heaters, we use the brand and size that fits your household load, and we install the expansion tank and the pan and the T&P valve discharge line to code. For repiping, we pull the old galvanized or polybutylene and run Type L copper or PEX with brass fittings, and we support it properly so it does not sag. For drain cleaning, we use a cable or a hydro-jet, and we verify the line is clear with a camera if there is a question. The difference between work that lasts and work that fails is the details: the flux wiped clean, the joints that are not stressed, the venting that is correct.

About Lee Whiteaker Plumbing
Our work standards

Plumbing done properly

We work at your house, not in a shop. That means we bring everything we need in the truck and we set up in the area of the job. We lay down floor protection between the door and the work site, and we use drop cloths over cabinets and counters. We keep the noise to the hours that make sense for a residential job. We cut holes in drywall only where we have to, and we patch them cleanly. When we leave, we haul off the old water heater, the scrap pipe, and the packaging. We sweep the floor and wipe down the surfaces we touched. You do not have to clean up after us.

What You Get, Every Job

After the job, if a question comes up, you call the same number and you get the same people. We do not route you to a call center or a voicemail box that nobody checks. If a faucet starts dripping a month later, we come back out and look at it. We do not charge you for a service call on something we just worked on. We think of the people we work for as neighbors, not as ticket numbers. That means we treat your house the way we would treat our own, and we answer the phone when you call. That is how we have always done it, and that is how we will keep doing it.
