Drain Cleaning

A slow drain or a complete clog in your sink, shower, or main line is a common household problem. You notice water pooling or draining slowly, and the usual fixes like boiling water or a plunger no longer work. This is the point where a plumber’s help is needed to restore proper flow and prevent backups.

We start by locating the blockage with a drain camera or by feeling the line with a hand auger. For kitchen sinks, we often remove the trap and use a snake to break up grease or food debris. On main lines, we use a motorized cable auger or a hydro-jetter to clear the pipe. We then flush the line with water and check for leaks or damage.

The difficulty of a drain job depends on the clog’s location and what caused it. A simple sink clog near the fixture is quick to clear, while a main line blockage from tree roots or collapsed pipe takes more time and heavier equipment. The age and material of the pipe—cast iron, PVC, or clay—also affect how we approach the work and what tools we use.

On the day of the job, our crew arrives with the necessary tools and protective mats to shield your floors and cabinets. We clear the blockage, then run water to confirm the drain flows freely. We clean up any debris and leave the area as we found it. Before we arrive, please clear the area under the sink and remove any items from the floor. Afterward, you can use the drain normally.
